Jenny
offers her clients an opportunity to shed stress and seek balance through therapeutic
massage. She believes that healing events present opportunities for positive awareness,
choice and growth.
Jenny is a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute's
600 Hour "CORE Plus" Program, is certified by the National Certification
Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), and is a member of the American
Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Jenny in 2007 earned her certification in
pregnancy and postpartum massage therapy from Kate Jordan Seminars' Bodywork for
the Childbearing Year. Jenny earned her Master of Arts in German and European
Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and her Bachelor
of Arts in journalism and German from the University of Oregon. She also studied
at the University of Hamburg as a Fulbright Scholar.
As a person living
with type 1 diabetes for more than 10 years, a special focus of Jenny's practice
is massage for people living with diabetes and other chronic illnesses. Her experiences
in yoga, dance and health care journalism also inform her work. Read
