Alethea Smith-Withers, D. Min. - Ordained Minister, Imago Relationship Coach, Counselor

Alethea (Greek name meaning truth) is known far and wide as a "barrier-breaker" and "bridge-builder". She holds a Masters of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree. Alethea is a certified Imago Relationship Coach™ and Pastoral Care Specialist. She is respected for her expertise in the areas of pre-marital and couples counseling, diversity and multiculturalism, African-American and Caribbean culture, and human sexuality. She also has special training in hospice and end-of-life care and grief counseling. Alethea has more than fifteen years of experience in pastoral counseling and life coaching. She is, also, an ordained minister, founder and pastor of The Pavilion of God, preacher, and religious educator.

Alethea calls her practice, Imago Dei, which means "image of God". Alethea believes that all human beings are created in the image of a creative/creator God, a God who not only fashioned all that exists in the beginning, but who also engages in creatio continua - ongoing creative acts that sustain and heal humankind!
