Wendy had her first acupuncture treatment at Spectrum in 2002, and it was the beginning of an incredible journey with this healing tradition.  She has received tremendous physical benefit herself from treatment, and she also finds she is happier and more grounded and moves through life’s difficulties with more ease.

Wendy enjoys partnering with her patients and students to empower them to be in a more healing relationship with their body, to feel better, and to thrive in their lives. Wendy practices mindfulness-based meditation and supports her patients to come home to the present moment.

Wendy received her Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts.  She is a Reiki Master and Teacher and has been studying healing modalities since 2002.  She found taking a Reiki class was one of the best gifts she had ever given herself because Reiki is a powerful yet gentle modality one can use on oneself.   She finds it is a joy and an honor to share the gift of Reiki with her students. 

She has helped protect our planet and connect people with nature by planting trees, writing grants, and doing outdoor education with people with disabilities.  She loves to play in the woods and on the water.
